"This is like an obsession with you!"
-Indiana Jones
To sum up my entire artistic history would be a big job. To say the least. I had humble beginnings in drawing "potato people", mostly on the wall. These were nothing special but for the fact that they all had detailed eyes and eyelashes. Progress was slow and sketchy until my 11th Christmas, when I received a copy of Ben Krefta's "The Art of Drawing Manga". For several years, under Krefta's guidance, I drew what looked like standard fodder to come out of a C-grade anime studio.
Then I discovered my own neat little style of "semi-realism" - definitely not manga, but not as realistic as a figure drawing by a Renaissance master. This is the style I've been using predominantly for the past year or so, despite the fact that it has made me extremely unpopular with fellow artists. Realist-purists insist that I am still drawing disillusioned manga, and manga-purists insist that I am still drawing manga. Well, I'm not.
As time went on, I discovered the beauty of Photoshop and the graphics tablet. I moved off of traditional art, which I was never very good at to begin with, and now do almost exclusively digital work.
Tools of the Trade: Wacom 4x5 Graphire tablet, Photoshop 5.0 Limited Edition. It doesn't take CS3 and a Cintiq to make pretty drawings. I wish some people could understand that.

The best examples of my art can be found on my Deviantart account. I make too many drawings to be constantly updating this page, and I have always treated Deviantart as my official artistic portfolio. Thus, this is probably more of a "best of the best" when content is added - the stuff I really feel is good enough to put on the Cryhavoc Network.
